The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Ortegar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with her Doctor father left her crippled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
