He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Patrick was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. He's also a talented Masseuse, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She keeps her long red hair kept up in a rat tail. She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. The war was a terrible time for her, and Mardnab does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardnab fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
