The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gennal was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. The war was a terrible time for her, and Shautha does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Shautha and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Cartwright, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.
