Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light grey in addition to tight pants. His hair is long and black with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Clerebold grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a grey coat with blue slacks. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is brown and curly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Gubu was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: An older woman who is renowned for her bright tan dresses and hats, she is not a threatening figure. Her brown hair is long and unkept. Her amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and expand her business

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.
