Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Hobart was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hobart's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Hobart was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but she was a colossal failure. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She has all her life been fascinated with music.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rinn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
