History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cockaby was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Hirrathak wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Hirrathak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the west. A freak accident while working with her Armorer mother left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
