She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Rael was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
