History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She has worked as a Mortician like her father before her.

When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Adrex began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Fargas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
