History: Bertram was born with his father's beautiful face. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Lavinia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

History: She was born in the west. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: Berrian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
