He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Semyaza was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Merchant. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
