He found a children's book about a Dwarf Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of orcs
