History: Shágflak was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her youth she was part of a gang.
