History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Veloptima alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Veloptima and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Eberk was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Joan learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She's also a talented Bowyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
