History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hunter grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hunter. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
