History: Kite lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in a small desert village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Her silver eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Fortune-teller. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 71. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gunter grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Dondon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Dondon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Dondon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
