History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Windy took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and retire the richest woman in the east

Her hair is golden and curly. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Zanna hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her childhood dream was to be a Performer, but she was a colossal failure. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She bought a mace and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions
