Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Mumpena was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Armara was born the youngest of three triplets. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Armara took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor she uses now. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: Nykkan is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nykkan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
