History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His childhood dream was to be a Apothecary, but he was a colossal failure. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His red unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: This light-skinned female wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a dagger on her belt. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her hair is blonde and very short. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: Verna is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Verna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Verna reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Verna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
