Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Helja hails from a village terrorized by illithids. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. During her travels, Helja and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Helja discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Helja fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Galiena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Galiena. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
