History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hobart is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mayor. After a long history of fighting, Hobart and his spouse have recently divorced.
