History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a sage and was forced into it by her family

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She's also a talented Beggar, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Outside of the suit he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears his brown hair down. His eyes are silver.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
