History: Vani was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
