Upon awakening, Adran discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. History: He was born in a small mountains village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. After a long history of fighting, Orthog and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Oriff alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Gomory and his spouse have recently divorced.
