History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Lagazi never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Performer.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
