Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Quarethon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: She was born into a rich family. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Melissa and her spouse have recently divorced.
