Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veloptima grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Veloptima's homeland. Veloptima decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born in the west. He worked as a nervous Mayor and found it very stressful. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ilde alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Ilde was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
