Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman is typically in her Cartwright uniform, and a wedding ring on her right hand. She sports auburn long hair. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ovina embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. Ovina enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To be a Carpenter again.

Description: This eastern man has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his pastel robe. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Joser is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Joser hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Joser alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants.
