History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Havilar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gimgen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
