Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
