History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Drifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Drifting. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Aym lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she is greedy
