History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Horza was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Barrister, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'0" when asserting himself. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His white eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Vassago liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears suspenders and black workpants. Her shirt is violet, and she wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her red hair is greasy and uncared for. She is baby faced.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He wears a red coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. He carries with him a set of maces, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has moderate length red hair. He has gray eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he desires power and/or immortality

Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Antagonistic. Bonds: Has a crush, Adventurer, Nature. Occupation: Miller

Voice: Speaks with lower jaw sticking out

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His yellow fur has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom.
