History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Halfling Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Egelina was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
