History: Born in the north to a Brewer, Antrara learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Smoking was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Althaea was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

His white hair and beard is wavy and long. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
