History: The child of a Laborer, who enjoyed hunting, Philomena was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Philomena took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ranala is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Ranala was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
