History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anne grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Taklinn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
