Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His yellow fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Shifting was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
