History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she usually wears her white robe and has her greatsword always slung over her shoulder. Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. She has blue eyes and a white hat with a grey feather.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Jasmine was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jasmine grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jasmine. Being a Seamstress kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She found a children's book about a Halfling Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.
