History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with her Courier mother left her crippled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
