Kite fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rurik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. Cairn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
