History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Oriax has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thorpe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
