Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Shamash was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Servant. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
