Personality: Sorath hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Sorath and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she tends to wear a large blue jacket. Her hair is golden and curly. Her gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a green vest and prefers black and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His rusty crest is thinning but still full. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady red eyes.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: This man stands a little under 4'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, tan shirt, and red tie. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: The child of a Interpreter, who enjoyed hunting, Darrak was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Darrak took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a green suit, grey shirt, and black tie. He has silver hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and a deep hatred of brigands
