History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Theriatis was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Doctor. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: Born in the west to a Barrister, Zanna learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother.
