He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Halander was born with his mother's beautiful face. After coming to the age of reason, Halander took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He became a Herbalist soon after.
