History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

She found a children's book about a Elf Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During her travels, Sarah and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Sarah discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Sarah fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
