History: Left-Handed lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Zûgor enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. After a long history of fighting, Zûgor and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable
