History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Faral has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Manfred was born with his father's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
