History: Born in the south to a Miller, Oppleby learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Ar-Kaius hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
