She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She is a Jeweler first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Scribe profession.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Jeweler for the past few years.

Motivation: Revenge; and to be a scribe again

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture
