History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: Robert speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Robert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Robert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
